Advice Before Surgery

Step 1
Two weeks before surgery

Some medications can interfere with anesthesia or increase the risk of bleeding and subsequent hematoma. Therefore must take the following steps:

Avoid intake inflammatories like Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Vitamin E (included in nuts, some oils and wheat germ), green tea, omega-3 fatty acids.

Avoid alcohol and snuff a month earlier.

Step 2
The night before surgery

Shower as usual.

Try sleep and take a good rest.

If surgery is going to be first thing in the morning, do not eat or drink anything after 12 at night.

If surgery is to be performed in the evening do not eat or drink anything for 6 hours before surgery.

Take only your usual medication as making usually comes with a little water.

Surgery day

After surgery
